Local culinary legend Kate Lamont has chosen a divine location for her Margaret River restaurant. Perched over the banks of a lake, this contemporary country retreat offers a tranquil setting for a session of food and wine indulgence. Executive chef Jim Mailes - previously of Wise Wines and Flutes - takes diners on a journey through the region's premium produce with a menu custom-made to match Lamont's own wines. Mailes's full breakfast provides a hearty start to a full day's wine tasting, while the mid-morning tapas menu offers an excellent excuse to linger on the restaurant's shady deck. The lunch and dinner menus change regularly but almost always feature the signature Pemberton marron and Lamont's own-recipe pavlova with double cream and seasonal fruits.
