Wise Vineyard Restaurant Dunsborough
On entering this northern winery, the attention is immediately drawn to the breathtaking bush and ocean views from the sandstone balcony. Before adjourning to the deck, however, diners can do a bit of tasting in the Wise cellar door and perhaps select a bottle for the table. Aside from the stellar views, diners have plenty to feast their eyes on with executive chef Jon Glasspool's contemporary creations. Think dishes along the lines of chilli plum duck with fragrant star anise rice; spaghettini with blue swimmer crab, garlic and tomato sugo; or Turkish apple brulee. Glasspool's menu is also available on Friday and Saturday nights, or one could pop over to the winery for a weekend brekkie of Busselton free-range eggs or Dunsborough Bakery's fruit and nut bread.
