Tin Cat Cafe is a restaurant and gallery space nestled in Kent Town, through the picturesque East parklands. Housed in a Victorian terrace, with an inviting garden at the rear, the decor of the Tin Cat Cafe provides a glimpse of the fifties against a backdrop of changing artworks by local artists. Tin Cat Cafe's seasonal menu is contemporary, with a nod to classic French, Asian and Mediterranean influences. The extensive wine list has many boutique offerings and some imported gems. Tincat is child-friendly, providing toys for small people and dress-ups for slightly older kids. Although they do not have a children's menu, the kitchen can happily put a little something together using fresh, preservative-free produce.
