Cornucopia Museum Cafe Fannie Bay
This trendy hangout overlooking Fannie Bay's beach is famous for its weekend brunches, so don't be shy about booking to secure your table. The prices might strike some as steep (at least by Territory standards) but the food is reliable and delicious. The menu is comprehensive, ranging from your standard breakfast options to a healthy raw salad or, at the other end of the spectrum, a hearty hangover-curing steak burger and chips.
Cornucopia's breakfast options include the traditional choices of eggs Florentine and Benedict, but they also do a mean serving of crepes with fresh strawberries, while their thickly sliced raisin toast is to die for. If you're feeling like something a little more substantial than the regulation brunch fare, you won't be disappointed. Lunch dishes might include marinated lamb focaccia; chicken caesar burger; smoked salmon and snow pea salad; or barramundi and chips.
