The Newsroom Cafe
We travel around a fair bit and eat out quite regularly. We found the Newsroom cafe a great little spot to eat. Although quite busy, the staff were pleasant and the food was delicious! I had a Rustica which I thoroughly enjoyed. The portions are quite large. GREAT coffee!!!

Frustrating
This place should be far far better than it is. It's in a prime locatoin in Toowong with very little competition but it just continues to be very average.
They never have enough staff on so you can wait over 10 minutes just to place your oder at the counter. I've walked in to grab a quick coffee on my way to work and generally walk out in frustration. The coffee is very average, the service is slllloooowww, the food average (although they consistently burn the fruit toast...).
Such a shame - Toowong is in desparate need of good cafes but Newsroom falls far below par.
