Named for the invented moniker of the goddess of chocolate, there's no prizes for guessing what the main offering is at this cute little espresso bar.
We all know that Zokoko is one of the finest chocolate labels to be found in Sydney, with some of the top restaurants stocking the brand for their in-house pastry chefs. What this Emu Plains cafe brings to the Zokoko brand is a small window into the process of making this decadent delight. From single origin bean suppliers to resident master chocolatiers, the cacao bean is treated more like a fine vintage wine at Zokoko. The result of this obsession can be seen in the subtle difference between a bar of 66 percent cacao PNG chocolate and a 72 percent Ecuadorian. The only way to find out is to taste them all. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.
