Opening quietly in 2010 where Little Zephyr Kitchen used to be, this place has quickly found its niche with growing numbers of Carlton locals - who are intent on keeping it under wraps. But the secret can't be kept forever, with Zheng Guan being voted Carlton's third best Asian restaurant within just a few months of opening. This is clean, fresh Shanghai-style Chinese at its best, and with an intimate, relaxed vibe it's clearly already proving a winning combination. Hint: the chilli beef dish is a particularly outstanding option if you feel so inclined.
