As unassuming as they come, this long-standing kebab and pizza spot on Crown Street can easily go unnoticed due to its micro size and modest decor. But don't be fooled; Zeno Restaurant & Pizza is an out-and-out Surry Hills institution. Just one bite into an authentic shish, lamb or chicken kebab can take you momentarily to the Middle East, replete with tabouli, hummus, red cabbage and other distinctive ingredients. For something a bit more Mediterranean, Zeno offers plenty of pizzas to enjoy either takeaway or at one of the handful of tables.
