The gentrification of club diners seems to be a trend that is sweeping the nation. Sydney has its fair share of upmarket club bistros and now the Queensland Rugby Club has one to call its very own.
Housed in the QRC's new Rugby Quay complex, Zen Central boasts state-of-the-art facilities to go along with its regional Chinese delicacies. Think plush leather chairs and large, white-clothed tables and you'll get the picture.
The menu deals strictly in regional Chinese classics, from the much-loved Peking duck to the equally-revered san choy bow. The range of dishes is short but punchy, with market-fresh mud crab proving a standout among many solid dishes.
