Bad service, average food.
This restaurant had very slow service, they ran out of the food we ordered (informing us 15 minutes after we had ordered) and so we were forced to reorder and wait again for our meals, and then they tried to charge us for the initial meals which we did not get.
The food itself was not the best. The pizza was the same standard I could get at dominos while the spaghetti bolongnaise my friend ordered was substandard (especially for the price). It also took a long time for our drinks to arrive and to get the waitresses attention to order more drinks.
All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant and I will not be going back there. Save yourself the time, frustration and money!

Great pizza, great service
I recently moved to Canberra and discovered this great little pizza place. I have only had takeaway and home-delivery, and the atmosphere is very 'take-out' - but he food and service is great. The first time we ate there we called and pre-ordered to the Manuka shop instead of Dickson. When we arrived in Dickson to pick it up and the mistake was realised the staff were great - they called Manuka and cancelled our order and made our pizza straight away with no fuss.
I always judge pizza places on the quality of their Marguerita pizza's, and Zeffirelli's is delicious! I also love that you can watch them rolling out the dough and making the pizzas fresh in front of you. Another highlight is the Caprese salad - full of herbs, ripe tomatoes and good quality olive oil and balsamic - delicious!
It's not the cheapest pizza you'll ever eat, but it might be the best.

Zeffirelli's: The Highlight Of Our Canberra Vist
What can I say - we had the best dining experience of our holiday to Canberra last week.
We arrived in Canberra not knowing where to eat so we decided to take a walk around Dickson to see what was open. We originally thought we would try the steakhouse until we saw the price of the steaks! After dragging the kids and husband around the entire block we decided to check your bill of fare - my son is not a big steak eater but loves pizza my husband checked if you did a small pizzas and we decided to eat there. It was the best decision of the day. My husband had the steak as did my daughter and my son and I tried the pizzas. It was a wonderful dining experience. Not only were the steaks reasonably priced my husband said it was the best steak he had had in a long time. My son decided to try the steak (this is a non steak eater under any circumstances and loved it so much that when we decided to return the next night he wanted the steak and ate every bit).
Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience and a big thanks to staff who coped so well with the large amount of customers that arrived on the Friday night.
We will be back

Nice pizza, terrible service
We've eaten at Zeffirelli for a few years now. The service used to be really good but has declined terribly over the past year or so. The restaurant is very noisy and can be difficult to hear your table companions.
The food is cheap and tasty but the service is absolutely terrible with staff barely interested in taking your orders. On our last visit, we had to keep asking for water.

One of the best pizza restaurants I have been to. I will, without a doubt, be returning for more.
