If it were any closer to the ocean, Zak's Cafe Restaurant might float away. Luckily enough, this gorgeous waterfront eatery stays on dry land, letting diners succumb to the palpable charms of the up-close water views. Critically lauded by Restaurant & Catering Australia, this Greek restaurant is a popular spot for both casual visits and festive occasions, offering a la carte and banquet options to suit all tastes. If you're particularly hungry, the meat, seafood or mixed platters allow for a shared, but still filling, feast. Mains like moussaka, yeeros, and seafood saganaki are just some of the many Greek flavours bursting from this West Lakes gem.

Beautiful food, great service
My husband and I have eaten at Zak's many times now, it has become one of our favourite places.
We have always thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service is always great....the staff are very discreet and you don't feel like they're interrupting you every time they clear your table. I have always found the staff very friendly too.
You can't go past the beautiful dips as a starter with pita bread. The skordalia is fabulous and I haven't had as nice anywhere else.
The moussaka was delicious on a cold wintery night, very filling. We've had the seafood platter on a couple of occasions and it is lovely.
Make sure you leave room for the desserts, if that is at all possible, as you won't regret it.
On a summer's night we love sitting out on the deck drinking our wine while watching over the lake. Life doesn't get much better.
We always enjoy our time at Zaks and can't wait to return.
