What a shocking experience!
I booked this restaurant as a romantic surprise birthday dinner for my partner, well what a surprise!. I had heard that it was a good place to go, assuming this person had been there I expected the best.
The waitress was very curteous & friendly with quick service, answering our questions and changing my order when I found out they served soft shelled crab, which is my favourite dish. My partner being creole order the seafood & rice dish.
My crab came out looking like it had been fried within an inch of looking like cardboard, if it had any taste I would describe it as oil mixed with paper.. this was not a cheap item on the menu.
My partners dinner was seafood stuck together in a glutoneous lump of red rice covered in tomatoe paste .... the only thing you could taste was tomato sauce, again this was not a cheap item.
The only thing that surprised us both was the expense we had to pay for such a disasterous disapointing unedible dinner.
Just one word of advice,NEVER GO THERE.

Do you get what you pay for?
Let me premise this review by stating I am so tired of spending good money on poor quality food and service.
I decided to take my wife out for a special occasion and did not wish to travel too far from home, so booked a local restaurant. Unfortunately I chose this one.
Now it is the little things that make a difference, for instance, if you take the time to book a table, I expect the table to be available when you arrive on time. Well not here. 30 minutes later after being told numerous times it wouldn't be too much longer. We should have just left I know.
We sit down order drinks and food. 20 minutes for a glass of wine. Hmm, ok, then a precession of food that we didn't order started to arrive at the table. If I new then what I know now, I would have just said yep that s ours and continued on, but no, we waited for what we ordered, and waited .. And waited.
It eventually arrived and it was edible. That is the best I can give it. I took the opportunity to order another drink at the time, but it never arrived so I cancelled it. Paid the bill and we will never return.
