Yen for Viet might be one of the newer additions to Marrickville's already crowded Vietnamese set but in this game it's not how long you've been there it's how good your food is. In this respect Yen for Viet leaves most of them for dead.
Second generation restaurateurs Yen and Anh Nguyen run Yen for Viet with affable competence, while Yen's brother Le is responsible for the magic dishes coming out of the kitchen. Expect to see the mandatory pho (one of the best examples around town) accompanied by Vietnamese stalwarts like banh xeo and DIY rice paper rolls.
