With the stunning Mooloolabah River gaping back at you, glistening intently just a skip across the promenade, a leisurely seafood lunch is certainly not out of the question - indeed, the mere sight of water on a warm day gets the tastebuds salivating for oceanic titbits: oysters Kilpatrick, king prawns and gorgeously crumbed, battered and fried slabs of fresh fish. Luckily, this seaside tavern has plenty of seafood on hand, as well as your traditional pub grub.
Mention should be made to the restaurant's specialty: steak. The kitchen chargrills prime cuts of meat, serving up picture perfect steaks, with a staggering choice of accompaniments on offer.
