While it's no secret that this pub and restaurant may be a tried-and-true backpacker joint, locals know too well that this can work in their favour - after all, this means cheap value-for-money meals, gigantic portions, a lively atmosphere and plenty of rowdy entertainment for those who want the night to kick on. The kitchen churns through an around 500 meals a night, serving up sumptuous steaks, ribs, pizza and other hearty pub-style dishes, such as the tandoori barbecued chicken with baked potato and sour cream. After a feed you can move into the cocktail bar, boogie to the tunes of the live DJs, join in some ice-breaker activities (nothing says "pleased to meet you" like a wet T-shirt contest) and take advantage of the stellar drinks specials.
