This cheerful and relaxed spot specialising in cakes, muffins and sweets (all made on the premises) is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth, whose brethren can often be found salivating over the many cakes that chef and owner Brendan McFarlane whips up for weddings and special occasions.
The children's menu includes fairy bread, pancakes and ham and cheese pizza. It should keep the little ones happy and occupied while you enjoy a far more grown-up meal of French toast, Cointreau butter, strawberries and Gippsland yoghurt (for brunch, obviously) or pan-fried calamari with chilli, coriander, almonds and a parmesan and rocket salad. Followed, of course, by cake.
