This casual and friendly cafe in the heart of Warburton is surrounded by bush, mountains, the Yarra and peace and quiet. Which is funny, because walking in here feels like walking into an inner-city Melbourne cafe characterised by funky artwork, live music and a cool vibe. But the contrast works, with cosy rooms and nooks and crannies opening to a beautiful courtyard overlooking the Yarra River.
The atmosphere is super relaxed, and the staff, particularly owner/chef Alan Seppings will make you feel instantly at home. The grub's good, too: awesome cafe-style food mixed with some more hearty meals such as Moroccan lamb and braised osso bucco risotto.
