Greeted on arrival by our friendly waitress. The menu was reasonable and comparative to the local pub! Fabulous slow cooked duck, a perfectly cooked steak and very hearty portions. Side veggies cooked to perfection. The desserts were to die for. The wine list was extensive and very reasonable. Well done Wild Oak we shall be back - unlike th epeople above I asked to taste my wine, and the waitress was only too pleased to help.

Wild Oak disappoints
We weren't greeted on arrival as there was no official 'front of house' person. The waitress while not unprofessional, could not be described as warm and friendly.
I had a Yarra Valley Sauv Blanc (by the glass). It was unpleasant and had I been allowed to taste it first, I certainly would have chosen something else.
The calamari was overcooked and bitter, the lamb risotto had no discernable lamb in it and the green beens were hard. The vegetable curry was bland and again the green beans were very hard.
The menu was quite pretentious and overpriced.
