Established in 1982, Wild Dog is now one of Gippsland's oldest and largest vineyards, with the view from the winery's restaurant taking in all 30 acres of it as well as the stunning Strzelecki Ranges beyond. Chef Ed McDowell's contemporary menu, though it changes seasonally, maintains a constant focus on local Gippsland and Victorian produce, showcasing the region's best in dishes that just happen to go perfectly with a glass of Wild Dog's signature shiraz and an afternoon or evening soaking up the atmosphere on the deck. Besides the sophisticated a la carte menu, there are also pizzas and lighter meals on offer, but whatever your appetite, this is a gorgeous spot to satiate it.
