We decided to eat here on a friend's recommendation.

At first things went well. We were seated immediately and there being only about 6 other occupied tables and 4 waitresses we thought we'd be well looked after.

Things started to go wrong when a group of 4 were seated 5 minutes after us (by a different waitress to the one that seated us) and their orders taken within 5 minutes. It took another 5 minutes for our waitress to take our order, and we realised that we might be in for another "invisible table" experience (we've had a few).

Starters (dips and haloumi with a veritable mountain of bread) came and we settled in for a relaxing evening. We'd been going for about 15 mins with the starter and were still eating when, unbelievably, the mains turned up. The shocking thing about that was we were in full view of the kitchen. As the mains were fish we declined to keep them on hold and lost the remains of our starter presumably to the stray cats at the bins.

The mains (I can't even remember what they were) were OK although you could count the number of chips on 3 hands. Thus finished we waited a short while for the plates to be cleared and carried on drinking our wine.

I kid you not, fully 25 minutes later, while the table of 4 were onto their post dessert coffees, someone found us through their x-ray goggles and came over to offer us the dessert menu. We quite frankly didn't want to give them any more of our money so declined. It took another 15 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted the bill and we had to go to the counter once we'd dropped the credit card into an obvious position on the table.
We left no tip.

If you ever go there avoid the 2 seat table in the middle of the floor just past the bar.
