This up-market Thai restaurant is located only 20 minutes from the McLaren Vale wine region, so it's the perfect pit stop for wine connoisseurs wanting lovely nosh to go with their vino. The view overlooking Port Noarlunga is spectacular so, on warm evenings, dining al fresco is a must. In the colder months, an open fireplace and gorgeous wood flooring keep White Dove warm and cosy.

Even with a movie deal - not good value.
We also did the dinner and movie deal, and only just finished in time for the movie. The food took forever yet we noticed one or two groups that sat down after us and had finished by the time we got our mains. The food was ok. There were only a couple staff as the other review says. Not so good.

The way to ruin a Saturday Night
We have had one of the worst dining experiences at this restaurant. The service was absolutely shocking. We booked and were one of the first to be seated and wanted to take advantage of the dinner and movie, thinking that we might get through our meal reasonably quickly. We finally got our drinks 45min after we were seated, entrees 1 hour. By 1.5hrs waiting for mains, we left after paying for what we had. There were only 2 staff out the front with a full restaurant. The whole time menus were thrown on the table behind us. They seem to rest on their laurels of awards received over 10 years ago, I can see why they have not received any recently.
