If there's one thing that can be said of Kobe Jones restaurants, it's that things aren't done in half measures. With the fourth instalment in the Kobe saga, Wharf Teppanyaki, the Kobe Jones group have created the largest teppanyaki table in Australia.
Forget the kitsch normally associated with your neighbourhood teppanyaki: there are no messages written in salt and no thrown food here (with produce this good you won't want to waste any of it on a lapse in concentration or impaired motor skills). Instead, a stately and intimate dining room holds 12 cooking stations and only 46 seats. Banquets range from the necessarily luxurious to the downright decadent, climaxing with the 10-course lobster and wagyu set menu.
