In operation for over 28 years (23 under the current owner), the West Lakes Palace is definitely doing something right. Their menu features many Chinese and Malaysian favourites, as well as some international options, so there is something for everyone's taste. A live pianist on Friday and Saturday nights adds that extra touch of class, which makes the Palace the perfect place to get together and enjoy good food and good times.

Palace
Pros: Food was nice and meals are filling.
Cons: - The appearance of the inside of the restraunt was tacky. The tables seem to be made from old wood disguised by the table cloth which is frustrating as the table isn't completely flat causing drinks to spill. It is hard to see the lake from inside.
- At the time there were only 10 other customers in the restaurant at the time and our meal, which was not a banquet, took 1h and 45 minutes to arrive.
