If the vibe at Wee Jeanie feels somehow familiar, it should. This outstanding little cafe is the brainchild of the same folks who brought you Yarraville's other great eatery, Cornershop.
Like its Ballarat Street sibling, the appeal of Wee Jeanie is in its ability to put a rough aesthetic on a polished operation. Sure there are exposed brick walls and a quaint courtyard, but behind the vintage facade is a small team of hospo pros who really know their stuff.
Expect the menu to run the gamut of cafe staples with a slightly Euro bent. Soups, salads, quiches, sandwiches and baked goods make up the majority of the offerings.
