After a total redevelopment in October, 2008, this resort restaurant burst onto the scene as an up-market buffet. The redesigned all-marble and glass interiors allows customers to view the theatre and exhibition of a working kitchen.
The menu offers an interactive buffet, with a wide selection of Asian, Mediterranean, Indian and seafood dishes to choose from. The real point of difference here is that customers can speak with the staff and order a freshly prepared dish made to their specifications. The dessert options are similarly luxurious, with a bevvy of sweet temptations to choose from. Those people strong-willed enough to resist a creme brulee, tiramisu or triple-chocolate mousse cake will almost certainly succumb to the chocolate fondue fountain, complete with strawberries, marshmallows and seasonal fruits just waiting to be dipped.
It's not hard to see why this place was awarded 'Best Casual Dining Buffet Restaurant' in Queensland at the 2009 Restaurant and Catering Awards.
