The soaring ceilings of the tasting room and restaurant and the enormous windows looking out over the dam and the endless vines make for a visually spectacular welcome to this winery restaurant. The heavenly vista is grounded by the friendly and helpful service. This down-to-earth approach surely contributes to the venue's accolades as a relaxed and child-friendly eatery - that and the courtyard playground. The menu might range from a distinctly Aussie crocodile fillet to an Asian-influenced duck breast with a shitake soy glaze. As an alternative to the restaurant, the adjoining cafe (open from 10am to 5pm) offers a more casual but equally tempting menu.

no other word...superb!
Was taken to Watershed or a special romantic surprise lunch. Have enjoyed their wines in the past so was keen. I could not fault anything. It was superb. I felt very special and very decadent. Love the idea of the entree tasting plate instead of individual entrees and everything on it was wonderful. The mains were generous without being oversized and we left full and very delighted. Highly recommended!
