While it may be located on the busy Pacific Highway, this sophisticated modern Japanese eatery inhabits its own classy world inspired by Japanese Zen-style dining, featuring small, white linen-covered tables for the culinary enjoyment to come. And at WAQU, it's all about having a fabulous and filling feast. With set menus only, WAQU still allows diners some flexibility in choosing exactly which courses will make up their two-course meal for lunch, or five-course feast for dinner. The seasonal menu may include anything from sashimi to wagyu beef to jewfish, while the myriad Australian and New Zealand wines are complemented by Japanese cocktails, beers and lovely sake.

Good food and service with reasonable price
Another japanese fusion resturant again. The food is not bad at all, service is pretty good and with a comfortable atmosphere. Of course you cannot compare this with tetsuya since you are only paying for a quarter of their price. If the portion of the dishes can increase a little bit more would be perfect. Sure, i will go back again.
