It was a sad day back in 2006 when an electrical fault caused the destruction of this old heritage pub. Happily, after a few years and extensive renovations this old favourite is back better than ever.
Now boasting all the modern trimmings you could ever ask for, the Walkers Arms has rapidly become a staple of the sadly lacking family dining scene in Walkerville. The dining section is broken up into two areas, the massive 200-seat buffet section and the more secluded a la carte corner. Offering all the classics of good, honest pub grub (as well as a stunning pumpkin, gruyere and caramelised onion tart), the a la carte menu is a great option for a more intimate night out; however, if feeding the gang is your priority then the buffet is hard to go past. With a spread broad enough to suit all tastes it's a real winner for those looking to feed the family on a budget.
