Vivace

Brighton offers more than just salt water and lounging beach babes; a little bit back from the beach lies this stylish Italian eatery, which shuns sand and driftwood in favour of crisp linen and blindingly shiny timber. More stylishly understated than scarily modern, the decor creates a comfortable space for tucking into the generous portions of uncomplicated Italian cuisine.

Indeed, traditional and contemporary Italian mix fluidly on the a la carte menu, from homemade gnocchi with lemon-scented chicken ragu, ricotta and oregano, to the cacciucco alla Livornese, which features mussels, prawns, scallops and fish soaked in provincial-style Italian crayfish bisque. Almost all of the mains are gluten-free, so coeliacs have reason to be regular bon vivants at Vivace. Meanwhile, avid movie-goers may choose Vivace given its convenient proximity to the Palace Cinema Brighton Bay complex just across the road.

Lunch Funtion At Vivace
I organized a company lunch function at Vivace last Friday in their private dining room and i can honestly say i cant fault it. The food was fantastic with a great range of options ( i had the quail, the angus steak and the mousse - all incredible). The service was stellar and the staff friendly and helpful. Extremely accommodating and i would highly reccommend to anyone. Well done guys, we'll definitely be back soon! :)

Love this place
I have visited this restaurant on many occasions over the 4 years it has been in business. I would have to say that every year these guys get better and better.
There is a new chef in the house as well now which I believe has taken Vivace to the next level.
Must have the tasting plate as an entree. Then the homemade lamb anglotti with persian fetta ,peas & mint or braised veal shank on butternut risotto , and many more dishes that I will be back to try.
If you like dessert, this place has got it all. Also great wine list, very affordable & friendly personable staff that have all been there since the begining.
Which says it all.

Vivace
I really enjoy this restaurant. It's got modern crisp decor, excellent wine selection at reasonable prices & their seafood linguine is the best I've had. Desserts are very good as well. Medium priced. Owner is very attentive & knows his stuff.

It was my first visit to this restaurant and I have dined a lot, at many great restaurants.
I must say I was very impressed with what this resturant offers. You must make the effort to visit this one.
