I went to this restaurant last night for a friends birthday.
PROS: Very nice food, food was brought out regularally. Friendly staff.
CONS: Sometimes i couldnt understand what the waiters/waitresses were saying when they were explaining the dishes. Also the tables were pretty cramped.

Overall this place was worth going to. I loved the salt and pepper crumbed squid and the banana fritter and icecream was to die for.

One more thing it would be a good idea if the restaurant had a website with everything on it instead of several review sites.

After such great reviews from the previous diners on this website I just had to take a few friends there. Sadly those friends have just deleted my name from their phones.
Probably the worst dining experience I have had in Melbourne! We ordered salt and pepper squid which was tasty but there was no hint of salt at all? The fish with lemon grass and chilli also lacked any chilli at all and I think I may have seen one piece of lemon grass. The Pork satay was terrible, more like curry powder and water served with 2 veges and pork. The singapore noodles (this has always been one of my staples) I cannot even begin to describe but the noodles were wrong the ingredients were wrong and again the nefarious curry powder seemed to have crept in?? No rice bought out until repeatedly asked for, water came after the food was finished and service from a bunch of youngsters dressed in shorts and nike tee-shirts.

I would strongly advise to steer clear of this place if you want good Vietnamese/Chinese food.

Fresh tasty food. The prawn curry laksa is highly recommended.

A regular eating place for my partner and I. Highly recommend the delicious duck salad/coleslaw. The peking duck isn't as good, being a little too on the fatty side.

I have been there many times for lunch and dinner and it is a great place to take people on Victoria Street, consistently high quality food and friendly service.

Great food, great service - always dependable. They have an OK wine selection otherwise there is a good bottleshop across the road. I'm not a vegetarian... but try the eggplant and tofu dish, very nice. A campfire beef is a great entree on its own.

I have been here many times. Every single time I come the food gets better and better, the service is exceptional. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
