Set among the bars, courtyard and decadent function room of Port Fairy's prominent historic hotel is the Victoria Hotel restaurant. The establishment has a strong focus on seasonal produce and fresh fare, and as a result, the modern-Australian menu offerings presented here do differ from season to season. During the busier summer months, the comprehensive menu includes a generous offering of locally sourced seafood dishes. Despite having heard that the winter menu is more limited, we are assured by hotel staff that it's as comprehensive as its summer counterpart.
Meals at the Victoria Hotel restaurant are best accompanied by a bottle of vino from the concise wine list. For those not necessarily wanting to engage in the full dining experience, a condensed all-day menu is also on offer. Guests can take these meals in any of the hotel's bars and courtyard areas.
