This member of the Docklands family (younger sibling of nearby Liquid) epitomises the shiny modern flavour of Melbourne's newest restaurant hub. Steel, polished concrete and exposed beams are a nod to the area's industrial past, while timber and glowing lights soften the atmosphere enough for diners to sink into a totally relaxed state.
Chef Sunny Gilbert has brought his skills over from Liquid, crafting a menu of contemporary meals. Bistro classics (think prawn cocktails or maybe an eye fillet with mash) sit alongside pastas and native Australian game dishes - try the crocodile burger for a truly Aussie dining experience. Kids aren't left out, as all their favourites are made fresh with no tacky frozen ingredients.

Mixed feelings
Dined here with my wife last night. As with most Docklands eateries this place is beautifully fitted out with good vistas.
Service was very friendly but very slow in taking our orders, serving drinks and removing plates.
Food was mediocre - we shared a few plates - dips & bread (OK). Calamari & rocket salad (good - calamari seemed nice & fresh, salad was well dressed). Tasting plate was ordinary - 4 OK oysters, 1 (on a plate to share!) large prawn which was pretty tasteless, a mini duck salad - 3 pieces of cold duck on some greens - chewy & tasteless & some duck pate fresh out of one of those plastic domes from the supermarket. Sticky date pudding was pretty dull, coffee was great.
As we have an Accor Advantages card we get 50% off the food bill which is just as well as I would have felt very ripped off if I had have paid full price.
