The more casual dining option at the Vessel in the six Green Star-rated Macquarie Building on King Street Wharf, this cafe boasts a style and sophistication that will have the nearby corporate types flocking there in droves.
Head chef James Westbrook's touches are present on the cafe menu as much as they are on the full dining menu. In the morning, a rich and smooth Allpress coffee or freshly squeezed juice is the perfect starter before you move on to a full breakfast just made for a decadent day basking in the surrounds of King Street Wharf. As lunchtime rolls around, baguettes, sandwiches and gourmet burgers take pride of place on the menu, with an Angus beef burger there as a reminder to everyone what a good steak sandwich should be. Paired with a Philip Shaw Wirewalker pinot, it's a recipe for a very enjoyable, possibly extended, business lunch.
