There's a great retro-chic vibe at this funky Mediterranean eatery in the heart of Cherrybrook. The menu features a fabulous selection of seafood dishes, but locals particularly love the lunch specials. Verve has an extensive drinks menu, so indulge in a tasty pre-dinner vino perched on one of the high stools at the bar.

What a great local restaurant
Its hard to go past Verve as a local restaurant . Smart dining at its best ! Such variety and the food is superb . Every night has something different . My husband and I keep going back and that means I dont have to cook ! I especially enjoy the roast corn fed chicken and the yummy desserts so beautifully presented . Lunch relaxing in the lovely alfresco area with my friends is a nice way to pass the day . Good value .

Delicious all the way..
It is easy to see why this place won the most outstanding restaurant award in the hills area for 2 years running. It is a true gourmet gem! Wife and I call this restaurant our home away from home. We both work from home and we lunch here basically every day. The lunch specials change every day and are always superb. Love the salads especially the hearty warm pasta salad with mushrooms, pumpkin and pecorino cheese (I'm sure its pecorino!) We're a big fan of the pasta night on Tuesdays and the big champagne brekky! The duck special changes pretty much every night and it's a real treat every time! Beautiful flavoursome food just a couple of clicks away from home.
Bubbly and helpful waitresses remember our names. Oh yeah, their wines are damn impressive without the shock horror price tag! Had the best ever sav blanc from NZ the other night. Can't seem to find it anywhere else.
One negative about this place, they're not open on Sunday nights. Owner says they're busy enough every other night. Anyway, a top place with awesome food and great folk.

Service leaves a lot to be desired. Waiters are expressionless. Menu is very limited and unfortunately if you are a local and wish to eat out regularly the menu becomes repetitive and rather boring. Don't touch the Ceasar Salad. It's tasteless.

Absolutely superb!
Wow! I was taken to Verve as a surprise (I'd never been before) and I was delighted by the warm inviting service and the stunning interior (especially the glass waterfall and cosy lounges), but most of all by the incredible food!
Presentation was so beautiful that it almost seemed a shame to eat the immaculately presented spiced salmon rillettes, potato pikelets and beetroot relish on my plate. Mains were just as impressive and a superb taste sensation. The desserts are truly heavenly, especially the melt in your mouth warm Belgian choc pudding! You can't miss out on that one! This is easily one of the best restaurant meals I have had in a very long time, even taking into account the fact that I dine out often in the city.
All in all - exquisite food, pleasing attentive service and a relaxing vibe atmosphere, definitely comparable to the city fine diners, but far more reasonably priced. The wine list is exceptional and I can't believe how reasonably priced the wines are, considering the fine quality. Loved the Verdelho with the salmon and ocean trout dishes! The dining experience and value was so amazing we offered the lovely wait-person a nice generous tip. I will definitely be back.

Verve
This restaurant has the opportunity of being something special in "The Hills". Unfortunately, although the food is well cooked, service comes last. Here we are paying Balmain prices... in Balmain we look over the ocean but at Verve we look over a surburban car park. Service should make up for this difference. The opportunity is there, but they should remember that their customers come first.
