Whether you're an Italian lover or a lover of all things Italian, this Eastern Suburbs darling is sure to impress with its chic interiors and purist approach to pizza and vino. Since its debut, this pizzeria has been causing quite a stir among locals.
Owner Nick Gilbert has gone to great lengths to ensure his pizzas do justice to the southern Italian variety, installing an Amalfi stone oven so bases are authentic and crisp and sourcing a lot of his produce from the motherland. On Thursday evenings, couples can indulge in their famous Sorrento 1/2 Metric Pizza for two meal deal, which also includes a couple of icy cold Peronis or house wines. The regular menu features a small but tantalising range of antipasti, inspired by the owner's travels to the Amalfi Coast, as well as a top selection of gourmet pizzas, stone-baked dishes and Italian desserts.
