Upon first glance, this red-and-white-hued diner looks like an American burger bar, but on closer inspection, Urban Burger is a through-and-through Aussie creation we can be proud to claim for ourselves. This North Melbourne branch of a burgeoning burger chain delivers burgers for the more urbane kind of person, offering low-fat, low-GI, preservative-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. The names of the burgers are good fun, too - take the "urban turban" tandoori chicken burger, or the "urban legend" prime beef beauty, for instance.
