You can always rely on Universal Bar for a dose of musical medicine - it's one of Perth's premier venues for live jazz, funk and soul bands, who perform every night. Channelling the jazz and blues bars of New Orleans, this Northbridge favourite is as well known for its musical entertainment as it is for its award-winning cocktails. Exceeds Expectations
A couple of my friends had been here before and as we were looking for a live music venue we decided to go here! I'd heard of the venue but never been as it's in Northbridge.
I must say, a diamond in the rough!
The food was decent hotel fare, I had a poor boy sandwich, great flavour and great value for money.
The really excellent aspect was the bar team. All competent, all well trained and all excited about their back bar. I must have had six different styles of martinis that I didn't know existed.
The music was good, the dance floor seemed pretty popular and before long it was one am.
A thoroughly good night on the town. Nice to see Northbridge coming back as a great spot for entertainment in a safe environment.
