This hidden treasure (once the glass windows are flung open) enables you to drink or dine right on the edge of the Torrens - a view barely surpassed at dusk. The name is indigenous for 'watching place', which is apt, considering the vantage point - you can see across the river to the trees and oval beyond. Chef Michael Stonehouse's mod-Med menu has a hint of Asia with an Italian bent and focuses on fresh local produce. The wine list covers most of the varietals, with a decent by-the-glass showing.

Pre-show dinner delight
Busy restaurant before a big show but service was still very fast and friendly. Choice of around 10 entrees and 10 mains - unfortunately not the same menu posted on their website but we still found tempting food to try. Entrees around $15; perhaps a bit steep. They forgot our side bread and then forgot again when I asked for it - no big deal really - was surprised and pleased to find out the waitress took 10% off our bill even after apologising twice. Mains were large and filling.
