Open every day of the week for lunch and dinner, Turtles at The Beachfront Hotel serves consistent, good quality pub-style fare with views to die for. This popular northern Darwin mainstay is frequented by locals and visitors alike, with various affordable platter options available for groups of friends, at just $12-$15 per person. Snack foods like wedges, nachos and pita bread with dips can be bought between 3pm-6pm from Thursdays to Sundays, while breakfast treats are offered on Saturdays and Sundays.
However, Turtles is best known for its gigantic burgers, steak sandwiches, schnitzels and steaks. Other favourites include the Curry of the Day and the crispy fried squid. But dynamic new head chef Kingsley Schultz promises to mix things up a bit, so stay tuned for more.
