Restaurant Information
Truman
The brainchild of Mark Wright and Ryan Cassidy, the dynamic duo behind St Kilda's the Galleon, Truman is a much needed addition to Albert Park's rather skint cafe scene. Just like its namesake, Truman (of the Capote kind, not the voyeuristic Jim Carrey kind) is more substance than empty style. The decor is charmingly rustic; a little bit industrial but comfortable enough where it counts. The fare boasts similar comfort levels, with baked eggs, jam-filled lamingtons and old-school tinned milkshakes making up the majority of the menu.
