Nothing short of an institution and original home to the now famous film festival. It's the place in Sydney to sit, be seen, to sip on fantastic coffee, lunch on fresh Italian salads and finish off with ice cream or cake.

Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
Despite it's glamorous reputation the Trop is just a cafe (or should I say 'caffe') The food is simple and well done, the coffee's fine and it's a decent place to grab a meal and have a chat. And you'll probably spot and actor or two which only goes to prove it's not too expensive.

Pass
Avoid this and just go anywhere else on the strip.
Please oh please do not use metal bowls to serve me food in.
Pay before you eat? What happens when the food is terrible? Sorry, if I want to pay before I eat I'll get a McMuffin or something.
