With tempting morsels like tempura zucchini flowers filled with ricotta and mushroom on a bed of chargrilled vegetables, or the seared Queensland white scallops wrapped with pancetta and zucchini ribbons and topped with a radish and baby watercress sherry vinaigrette dressing, who could find room for mains? But dishes such as chargrilled milk fed veal medallions on sweet green pea and chickpea puree and a sautee of sweetbreads, mushrooms and asparagus with baby caper and tuna aioli are worth unbuttoning the top button for. Or there's the incredible-sounding chargrilled salt crusted MSA grade rib eye steak on creamy garlic mashed potatoes, beans, demi-jus, barbequed king prawns and sauce hollandaise. This mod-Oz mecca is not for the fainthearted; it also does a mean set menu of two or three courses.
