Somewhere between a shabby chic living room and a stylish suburban bar, Tonik sets a subtle scene for a chilled-out eve with cocktails, nibbles and friends. Professionals regularly flock to Tonik to escape the hustle and bustle of the CBD by journeying a mere 10 minutes to Kensington Village. That journey is rewarded with a selection of 40 cocktails to choose from (a High Falutin Fruitin', anyone? Or a Bhang Mango Lassi?) and various food menus to suit your mood, including shareable starters, supper bites, bowl food, plate food, pizzas and desserts. Many dishes can be done gluten-free, including favourites like polenta-crusted chicken loins on a harissa-spiced chickpea salad with watercress and coriander; and beef skewers with black bean sauce.

Just the Tonik...
This is a prime spot to relax on a couch, enjoy a cold beer and watch the world go by.
Great food on offer (they used to do $5 pizza's on mondays which were awesome!), plenty of variety, a quality choice of beers and wines from some great little brewers and wineries.
Highly recommend this one.
