Cheap, cheerful and satisfying, Tomatos has people flocking to it every night. This large establishment is bustling and vibrant, and the groups and families eating here help to create that warm and welcoming feeling.

Poor taste
We had dinner with the pizza having no taste. With all the great toppings very disappointed with the blandness.
We will not be going back.

Gluten Free Feast for Mum's 50th!
We dined at Tomatos in a group of 13 for my Mum's 50th. As most of the group were on a gluten free diet, the team at Tomatos developed a gluten free banquet menu, based upon their $22.90 "Tomatos Banquet", for us. It was only $24.90 per head and included toasted GF pizza bases and dips, polenta fingers and calamari for entree and then a huge selection of GF pizzas accompanied by salads (they even made us caesar salad without croutons) for dinner. Everyone loved the food (even the few in the family that are lucky enough not to be Coeliac). There was no cakeage charge for the GF Croquembouche that we brought for dessert (thanks to Francois from Bonjour Patisserie New Farm). All in all a brilliant evening, my Mum had a great time. Thanks Tomatos!

Really Nice
I hadn't been to Tomatos since it had re-opened a while back. Anyway, we went there for a very early dinner. The food was great and service was really fast. The kids pizzas are really big and so much nicer (and the same price) than ones you get in some pubs that look like they are just microwave mccains. I would definitely go back.

Great night
Just wanted to say what a great night my group had there on sunday night. really good pizza and great service. - we had a banquet and that was great value - we will be back ! ( Oh and I had the Risoto which i thought was top notch! )
After both my husband and I gave in to the recommendations of close friends to try out Tomatos, we can both safely say we now dont look back.
The food was absolutly delicious, in particular the the woodfired pizzas. You can really taste the difference the fresh ingrediants and traditional cooking method make when you compare them to other popular pizza sellers.
The service far surpassed any expectations of a casual family resturant. The staff were more than helpful and the general atmosphere of the resturant exhibits this warm welcoming feeling to diners alike.
We will definatly be returning and i can now say that both my husband and I have now joined the ranks of friends who highly recommend this place to dine.

Very disappointing - will not return
I was absolutely appalled with my meal. Both my friend and myself ordered pumpkin and gorgonzola risotto which was supposed to come with rocket. There was definitely no rocket in either of our risottos and we could not taste any gorgonzola. Either they didn't put any in or only a very small amount that it could not be tasted. They also put rosemary in the risotto and it just did not go. The meal was $16 something. For that price I expect a decent tasting risotto.
We ordered two glasses of red wine when we ordered our food. Our meals arrived and we still hadn't got our wine. So we asked them about it. They then brought us two glasses of white wine. They then told us they had run out of the particular wine and could only give one of us the wine. They did however give us another more expensive wine for the same price.
This is a restaurant where I choose not to return.

Awesome food
Laidback and unpretentious. Big, spacious and modern restaurant. Nice inside if it's too cold outside and nice outside if it's warm. Food is AMAZING, affordable and big portions too. Family friendly, bang for your buck! Guaranteed to have you returning over and over.

This place makes a mean pizza, nice thsn woodfired bases with sensational toppings such as the tandoori chicken.
Low-key but has great atmosphere, sitting outside is best on a summer night.
