Located in the State Library of Queensland, you'd expect this cafe to provide a relaxed, quiet atmosphere - and it does, along with top food, wonderful prices and a great little wine list.

Okay, but not good enough for its price
Service is fine, coffee is good, but never really great. The selection of cakes is excellent and many of the ones that I have tried were even better than expected.
It may be my expectation, but I feel they are priced like a better quality cafe than they deliver. Still go there when I am at the SLQ and enjoy it.
Link is to a photo of a tomato pizza they sold for about $8.00
I really don't like the way they post signs telling you not to eat anything but their food while at the table. I think that so long as some of you are customers, it should be fine. It is the State Library not a Cafe strip.
