One of the newer additions to Lygon Street, this welcoming diner proves that multiculturalism in Melbourne's dining scene has reached event horizon. Set up in the middle of Carlton's iconic Italian cafe strip, Tina's Aamantran (Hindu for "invitation") is a breath of fresh air for local diners.
Here you can sample a selection of traditional and modern Indian dishes, from classic tandoori dishes to an achari gosht (fragrant lamb cooked with pickles). As an added bonus Tina's is also BYO to make your night even more thrifty.
