Right next door to the original Tiamo, this place perfectly shows off Lygon Street's Italian food credentials. The menu is classic and traditional, the atmosphere is warm and busy, and there's cheap corkage for BYO wine. There's a no-bookings policy, so it can be busy at times and you may have to wait, but for food (and a classically Melbourne experience) like this, it's worth it.

The service was not helpful at all. I asked them about turning the heaters on and the guy just looked at me with distaste. This place used to be good. I hope they pick up their game, there is a lot of competition in Lygon St.
