Just didn't hit the spot!
Visited on Saturday evening, firstly we were disappointed to be taken to the 2nd level of the building, felt like we were given the last 2 seats in the house despite booking weeks in advance, secondly we were not advised that it would be degustation dining only, no a la carte available.
Meal was just OK, bit bland and boring - long list of ingredients listed on menu for each item that we struggled to see or even to taste. We also considered the serves pretty small even for degustation. Wine list was also quite boring, no sommelier either and waiter was not at all knowledgeable about the wines on the list.

One to remember
I took my fiance and two of my friends to dinner at Three One Two tonight for my friend's birthday, the food was absolutely mouth watering. Every dish was perfectly balanced and the flavours complemented each other perfectly also. The service was fantastic and the staff were friendly. However I did find that there was possible slightly too much loftiness for my liking amoung the staff and management and at times this made us feel a little uneasy. I think that you can still have impeccable service without going over board on the "poshness!" The only other thing I can say that is slightly on the negative is that the menu is slightly too limited, I realise that it is fine dining and it is intentionally a small more articulate menu, but just two more dishes per course would have been much better and would appeal to a much wider range of fine dining lovers like myself. All and all it was a fantastic night and will definitely reccommend the food to anyone!
