It's fair to say Bronte isn't exactly a mecca of great cafe options - perhaps Bondi has been stealing all its thunder. Thankfully, this funky little cafe has come along to rectify the situation.
The first thing that strikes you about Three Blue Ducks is the decor. Bench seating and a large communal table are overseen by a huge graffiti-cum-graphic-art mural on one wall, which then gives way to the open kitchen. Coming out of the kitchen is a vivid reimagining of cafe classics. Organic milk, free range eggs and grass-fed beef all go into making some exceptionally tasty food. Expect to see anything from poached eggs, salmon and hollandaise on Baker Friday bread to a crispy duck salad with a distinctly Eastern slant.
