Thousand Spices

Just opposite the train station at Homebush, and half hidden behind an ATM, Thousand Spices is a great restaurant in a somewhat unlikely location. It is held in high esteem among the Sydney Indian community - always a good sign for those of us who can't tell a tawa masala from our elbow. Even if you can't tell the difference between the dishes described on the menu, take the opportunity to broaden your horizons, as the enthusiastic team behind Thousand Spices make a concerted effort to create the most authentic Indian food possible. The casual, cafe style and upbeat Indian music create a relaxed and fun atmosphere to enjoy truly great traditional Indian food.

Very impressed, we'll be back
For a midweek night, this place was buzzing and busy, unlike a similar restaurant two doors down which was empty. Lots of Indians came in to eat, always a good sign when the people of the same culture as the reastaurant dine there. Food was very tasty and reasonable, service was quite good considering how busy they were. We'll be back.

Great Meal at Thousand Spices
A local Friendly restaurant, the staff are always polite.
Try the Tandoori Chicken for something a little spicy or the big Samosas, they are really nice.

Every meal I have at this restaurant never disappoints, the food tastes great, great price and the staff make you feel at home.

Ask the waiters for recommendations like I did if you are unsure of what to order, you wont be disappointed.

ENJOY!
